At Brunet Research we focus on bees and their impacts in agriculture and in natural and feral plant populations.
Bees can transfer pollen from agricultural fields to wild plants and may transfer unwanted genes to natural populations. We examine the exchange of genes between agricultural fields and natural or feral plant populations, that is gene flow and introgression between cultivars and their close relatives in the wild.
